Evaluation Process
The International Panel of ten established and recognized specialists from different countries will independently review all applications according to objective predetermined criteria:
Type of research work:
- Published article
Type of study:
- Clinical study
- Partial clinical study
- Basic scientific study
Impact factor (IF)
An article published in a reputable scientific publication with an impact factor (IF) greater than 1.5 may apply.
Potential contribution to diagnosis and treatment
Country ponder
For countries with per capita nominal GDP under 5,500 US dollars (North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina): + 20%
Reason: Countries with low GDP invest less into research.
The Panel will determine two finalists from each field of research. The winners from each field will be announced at the 2019 Medis Awards Ceremony on 5 November 2019 in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
